What the Visa Lets You Do
The UAE tourist visa is issued for a set stay, and the dates on it are the dates that count — not the dates you hoped for. Three things worth knowing before you book flights:
- Check the validity window. The visa is valid from a start date, and your flights must sit inside it. Booking a departure a day before the visa starts is a surprisingly common and expensive mistake.
- Overstaying carries daily fines in the UAE, and they are enforced at the airport on exit. If your plans change, tell us before your stay runs out rather than after.
- One visa, one traveller. Every person in the family needs their own, including infants.
